OptimaSelf Terms of Use
These terms apply to adults who use the OptimaSelf web app. OptimaSelf is operated by Gelin Zhu as an Ontario sole proprietorship. By using the app or buying Premium, you agree to these terms.
Wellbeing scope
OptimaSelf provides general wellbeing, reflection, and planning tools. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, crisis support, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not promise recovery or a particular result. Seek qualified professional help for health concerns, and contact local emergency services if you cannot stay safe.
Your choices and record
You choose what to enter and whether to follow a suggestion. Keep backups private. You are responsible for access to your browser profile and exported files. You may delete the local record in Settings and separately delete an optional encrypted backup.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, upload unlawful material, or use it to harm another person. The service is for personal use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Availability
The public web app may contain errors, change, or become temporarily unavailable. We may suspend access to protect users or the service. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Premium and payments
Premium is a recurring monthly or annual subscription in US dollars unless checkout states otherwise. Stripe shows the price, taxes if applicable, billing interval, and renewal terms before payment. The subscription renews until cancelled. You can cancel renewal through Account or contact support. Access normally continues to the end of the paid term. The first paid purchase is protected by the 14-day money-back promise described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Accounts and purchase recovery
No account is required for free local use or before checkout. A verified passwordless account is required to restore a purchase on another device. Keep your email account, device, and recovery phrase secure. Do not share sign-in links or recovery material.
Intellectual property
OptimaSelf, its original design, product copy, software, and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You keep ownership of the personal material you enter.
Governing law and changes
The Privacy Notice explains data handling. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable Canadian law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live. Material changes will be dated and presented before they apply where required.
